The route: 100% car-free

The Young Families Tour uses almost exclusively protected bike paths. The main route combines the Lachine Canal and Parc Jean-Drapeau on Ile Sainte-Helene. These two areas offer wide, flat paths, green spaces for stops, and river and downtown views that delight children and adults alike.

The guide adapts the pace to the youngest participant. Frequent stops are built in for children to explore, ask questions, and make sure everyone is comfortable. It’s the family’s pace, not the guide’s.
