Guided bike tour questions
What guided tours do you offer?
Five formats: the Hidden Gems Tour (3h, 12 km, vibrant neighbourhoods), the Other Side of Montreal Tour (3h, 16 km, river-canal-islands), the Young Families Tour (2.5h, private, child-adapted), Private Tours (2-4h, exclusive group), and Custom Tours (2-4h, tailored itinerary).
How large are the groups?
Maximum 10 people. This is a deliberate choice — not a logistical constraint — to guarantee quality, attention and a convivial atmosphere.
Is the bike included in the tour price?
Yes, always. Helmet and lock are also included.
Is there a food break during the tour?
Yes — a stop at a neighbourhood spot appreciated by Montrealers is included in every tour. It’s a genuine local moment, not a tourist detour.
Do tours run in bad weather?
Yes, rain or shine. Free cancellation with 24 hours’ notice.
Are tours available in English?
Yes, our guides are bilingual.
Family and children questions
From what age can children participate?
From age 1 in a trailer (max 45 kg / 100 lbs). From ages 3-4 with a Tag-Along (Trail-a-Bike). From ages 5-6 on their own bike. The Young Families Tour is designed specifically for children aged 1 to 12.
Is there a special family tour?
Yes — the Young Families Bike Tour at $329 + tax (2 adults + 2 children aged 12 and under). Private tour only, certified family guide, safe route on protected bike paths, children’s pace, snack included.
Is the family tour safe for young children?
Absolutely. The route uses exclusively protected bike infrastructure — the Lachine Canal path and Parc Jean-Drapeau — with no car traffic. The guide is certified in family outings and does a full safety briefing before departure.
